Barneys New York is kicking off the second installment of its BNY Sole Series with two Adidas styles. The series is once again led by Barneys senior buyer of men’s shoes, Chris Pepe. The first release includes fresh takes on the adidas superstar ii and Superstar silhouettes. Both styles have a glossy white leather upper and use minimal stitching, instead making use of laser-cutting to create the shoes’ recognizable three-stripe details.
The adidas superstar ii black white is a creation from footwear-fashioners Sydney Kay Customs, who were inspired by the recent Supreme x The North Face collab. Their labor of love is mostly black, with the color adorning the sole, toe and laces of the shoe, with contrasting white appearing on the heel tab. The aforementioned Supreme logo is also in white, and it has been amazingly wrought via hand-painted custom stencils, in case you needed even more of an ultra-rare touch to the sneaker.
adidas superstar pride pack gives the popular BOOST a bold new look by introducing it in color for the first time. Available now in red and black, the highly anticipated color update to the Boost offers runners a completely new aesthetic from the Three Stripes. The new colorways will make their debut alongside the iconic white Boost midsole on triple red, black and white versions of the latest drop from adidas, UltraBOOST Uncaged.
